NBC Midseason TV Schedule: When Your Favorite Network Show is Coming Back in 2022

With beloved network shows like Chicago Fire, Law & Order, and Blacklist airing their final episodes of 2021, fans are no doubt wondering when these NBC shows are likely to return.

Luckily, the channel has already announced the release dates for its shows with midseason premieres, and viewers won't have to wait too long for their return as they start to come back from January 3.

As well as returning shows, NBC's midseason schedule will also see a number of shows premiere new seasons, including This is Us' sixth and final season.

When are NBC shows coming back in 2022?

NBC have 16 shows that are set to return in 2022, with a number continuing and others premiering.

Here is a full list, all times are in ET:

Kenan Season 2 returns on Monday, January 3 at 8 p.m.

That's My Jam returns on Monday, January 3 at 9 p.m.

American Auto Season 1's time period premiere on Tuesday, January 4 at 8 p.m.

Grand Crew Season 1 time period premiere on Tuesday, January 4 at 8.30 p.m.

This Is Us Season 6 premieres on Tuesday, January 4 at 9 p.m.

New Amsterdam Season 4 returns on Tuesday, January 4 at 10 p.m.

Chicago Med Season 7 returns on Wednesday, January 5 at 8 p.m.

Chicago Fire Season 10 returns on Wednesday, January 5 at 9 p.m.

Chicago P.D. Season 9 returns on Wednesday, January 5 at 10 p.m.

The Blacklist Season 9 returns on Thursday, January 6 at 8 p.m. It will also have a new time period premiere on Friday, February 25 at 8 p.m.

Law & Order: SVU Season 23 returns on Thursday, January 6 at 9 p.m.

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 returns on Thursday, January 6 at 10 p.m.

Law & Order Season 21 premieres on Thursday, February 24 at 8 p.m.

Dateline NBC Season 29 premieres on Friday, February 25 at 9 p.m.

Young Rock Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, March 21 at 8 p.m.

Mr. Mayor Season 2 returns on Tuesday, March 21 at 8.30 p.m.

What are the new NBC shows for 2022?

As well as its usual slate of shows, NBC will also launch 3 new programmes that are sure to become fans new TV obsession.

The Thing About Pam

The Thing About Pam is a true crime limited series starring Renée Zellweger, Josh Duhamel, and Judy Greer based on the murder of Betsy Faria in 2011, and it premieres on Tuesday, March 8 at 10 p.m.

Faria was stabbed to death in her home and Pam Hupp framed the deceased woman's husband Russ Faria for the crime.

American Song Contest

American Song Contest is the U.S. equivalent to the Eurovision Song Contest and it will see the country's 50 states, five territories and Washington D.C. compete for the title of Best Original Song.

The singing competition show will premiere on Monday, February 21 at 8 p.m.

The Endgame

The Endgame is a new thriller series set to premiere on Monday, February 21 at 10 p.m., which stars Morena Baccarin and Ryan Michelle Bathé.

It follows the cat-and-mouse game between captured international arms dealer Elena Federova (Baccarin) and FBI agent Val Turner (Bathé).
