While some may have spent New Year's Eve consuming enough alcohol for all of 2019, others will wake on January 1 ready for a morning mimosa to toast to the beginning of another trip around the sun. However, some liquor stores won't be open to welcome in the New Year so it may be necessary to stock up before 2019 hits.

Many states have government regulations in place determining when stores can legally sell packaged alcohol. However, that does not mean that every store is open for the duration of time they can legally sell alcohol, so it's best to check with local establishments before devising a shopping plan.
