New York City FC Vs. Los Angeles FC: TV Guide, Live Stream Info and Odds for MLS This Weekend

The MLS regular season might only be two games old, but it is already shaping up to be an extremely competitive campaign.

No club in the Eastern Conference has a 2-0-0 record, while three teams in the Western Conference have picked up six points out of six in the opening two rounds.

One of those teams, Los Angeles FC, takes its 100 percent record to the Big Apple on Sunday when it faces New York City FC.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of their matchup this weekend.

When and where is the game?

Sunday is New York City's second consecutive game at Yankee Stadium, following their 0-0 draw against D.C. United last weekend. For Los Angeles FC, meanwhile, it's a first trip outside California after two straight games on home turf.

Kick-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 17.

TV and live stream info

The game will be broadcast on TV on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes. Fans who can't watch it on TV can follow the action live on FOX Sports GO. The match will also be streamed live on FuboTV and Sling TV.

Match odds

According to OddsShark, New York City is a +106 favorite, while Los Angeles FC and the draw are at +230 and +255, respectively. The over/under bar for goals is set at 2.5.

Recent form

New York City FC is still looking for its first win of the season, after drawing 2-2 away to Orlando City on the opening weekend when they squandered a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Last week, in their first game regular season game in front of their fans, the Bronx Blues were left frustrated after they were held to a stalemate draw by D.C. United.

New York City FC had 21 shots to D.C.'s seven and enjoyed 66 percent of possession, but couldn't make its superiority count.

Its opponents, meanwhile, have enjoyed a completely different start to the season. Los Angeles scored an injury-time winner on the opening weekend to beat 10-man Sporting Kansas City 2-1 and then thrashed Portland 4-1 last week.

The Timbers also had a men sent off, but by the time Diego Chara received his marching orders the Black and Gold were already home and dry.

Norwegian striker Adama Diomande has been in sparkling form so far this season, netting in both games.

Series record

The first and so far only meeting between the two sides finished 2-2 in Los Angeles last season.
