The NFC East is renowned for being one of the hardest divisions to predict in the NFL—and it's doing its best to live up to its reputation this season.
That is a remarkable feat considering that the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins are all but out of the running for the playoffs.
The Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, meanwhile, share top spot in the division with a 3-3 record and collide in a potentially crucial matchup on Sunday Night Football this week.
After winning their first three games, the Cowboys looked on course to become the first team to win back-to-back divisional titles since the Eagles took four in a row between 2001 and 2004.
Over the last three weeks, however, the wheels have fallen off Dallas' bandwagon in spectacular fashion.
The Cowboys lost in New Orleans, were beaten at home by the Green Bay Packers and last week conspired to lose 24-22 on the road against a New York Jets team that had gone 0-4 up until then.
The offense, which started out as one of the NFL's highest-scoring units, has since lost its mojo, averaging 18.6 points per game over the last three weeks. The number of points allowed, meanwhile, has climbed up from 14.6 per game to 23.3.
The Cowboys have lost three straight games for the third time since 2015 under Jason Garrett.
However, history provides some comfort for the Cowboys.
Five of the 12 teams that made the playoffs last season were either .500 or below after seven games—the Cowboys were 3-4—and at least one team has made the postseason since 2011 despite being below .500 through Week 7.
At the same time, a fourth consecutive defeat would raise serious questions over the Cowboys, particularly should it come against a divisional rival.
Like Dallas, Philadelphia arrives into the weekend on the back of a loss, after suffering a 38-20 defeat at the hands of the Vikings in Minneapolis.
The Cowboys could be without Tyron Smith, La'el Collins, Amari Cooper and Randal Cobb.
The latter pair's absence could severely limit Dak Prescott's options and force Dallas to keep the ball on the ground for longer.
That might not necessarily be a bad thing either, as in Ezekiel Elliott they have a player who can win games with his running game.
The star running back has rushed for 491 yards and five touchdowns so far this year.
While the Eagles will have their work cut out to stop Elliott, Doug Pederson is unlikely to be too disappointed should the Cowboys' receiving options be limited.
Philadelphia has allowed 100-plus yards to six different receivers and given up seven explosive plays through the air—the most of any team in the league.
For all their porousness on the defensive side of the ball, the Eagles have more than enough offensive talent to cope. Carson Wentz has thrown for 1,458 yards and 12 touchdown passes—seven of those have come in the red zone—and ranks first in the NFL in terms of third-down touchdowns.

Both teams sit at 3-3 in the NFC East and both tasted defeat in Week 6. Dallas suffered a third consecutive loss after falling 24-22 in New Jersey against the Jets, while the Eagles were comprehensively beaten in Minneapolis by the Vikings, losing 38-20.
Series record
Dallas leads the all-time series 65-51 and has won the last three meetings against Philadelphia, including a 29-23 victory in December last year.

According to Oddschecker, the Cowboys are three-point favorite and are 91/100 to win and cover the spread, while the Eagles are 13/10 underdogs. The over/under bar in terms of total points scored is set at 48.5.
