NFL Playoffs: Chiefs vs Bengals Preview, Betting Odds for AFC Championship Game

The Kansas City Chiefs are clear favorites with sportsbook SBK to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Sunday's AFC Championship match.

The Chiefs head into the contest with odds of 4/13 as they look to secure their place in the 2022 Super Bowl at the SoFi Stadium in California.

But they will be wary of an upset after the Bengals, who are 3/1 with SBK to win this match, pulled off a surprise 19-16 victory against the Tennessee Titans last weekend. Zac Taylor's team also have the advantage of having beaten their opposition in their last meeting, coming out on top in a close 34-31 win.

In the clash before that, it was the Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who came out on top.

The Bengals come into this weekend's match in a hot streak of form, with six consecutive ATS victories. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are on a run of seven consecutive Overs and will fancy themselves to reach the Super Bowl for the third year running.

And the Chiefs are currently the 5/4 favorites with SBK to win the Super Bowl, going one better than last year after defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Florida. The Bengals are 9/1 outsiders to go all the way, a further indication of their underdog status.

The Chiefs' Travis Kelce is the clear favorite to score a touchdown anytime against the Bengals, with odds of 4/5, while the most likely scorer for the Cincinnati outfit is Ja'Marr Chase (5/4).

Tee Higgins (2/1) and the aforementioned Mahomes (11/4) could also be amongst the scorers, and Joe Mixon is 8/1 to score the last touchdown.

Tyreek Hill is 7/1 to score the first touchdown, and Chiefs coach Andy Reid has hailed his team's key trio of Hill, Mahomes and Kelce in the buildup to the match.

He said: "It's special. All three of them trust each other, and that's important. They have that innate ability to know where the guy is going to be against whatever leverage the defender has on them. I appreciate that.

"It's a fluid game, so you're going to have to make adjustments, you're going to have to do it with routes where it's not going to be perfect like you might see with a card that you've drawn up.

"The other team is playing, too, so you have to maneuver around, and it helps to have that chemistry when teams are showing you a bunch of different looks."
