NFL Preseason: Where to Watch Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins TV Channel, Live Stream, Odds

Two AFC rivals collide in an all-Floridian affair when the Miami Dolphins host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night in the first nationally televised game of the third week of preseason.

The Jaguars have lost both of their games so far this summer, with the latest defeat coming at home against the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday. Jacksonville, who had failed to score any points in its first preseason game, again sat most of its starters in the 24-10 defeat.

Overall, 31 players did not see any action last week, including quarterback Nick Foles, running back Leonard Fournette, cornerback Jalen Ramsey and defensive ends Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone, however, indicated some of the starters were likely to feature against Miami, after missing out the first two games of preseason.

The Dolphins also arrive into Week 3 on the back of a defeat, albeit a much narrower one than that suffered by the Jaguars. Miami lost 16-14 in Tampa Bay on Friday night, as Josh Rosen made a surprise start under center.

Miami acquired the second-year quarterback from Arizona, after the Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray with the number one overall pick in this year's draft and Rosen is expected to challenge 15-year veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting spot.

On Friday, Rosen threw for 102 yards and completed 10 of 18 attempted passes in the first half, leaving a positive impression on Dolphins coach Brian Flores.

"I thought he played well, made some good decisions out there," Flores was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. "He was into the game. He was ready to go. I thought he did a good job in the huddle, getting the play calls in. I thought he played well from that standpoint."

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Thursday.

With most of their starters out, the Jaguars again turned to rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew against the Eagles.

The sixth-round pick of this year's draft had struggled in the preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens but bounced back impressively, completing 19 of 29 passes for 202 yards in just three quarters.

"He did a lot for me," Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said when asked about the performance of the first year quarterback. He's good now. I like him. He doesn't get rattled."

The loss to the Eagles was compounded by an injury to running back Alfred Blue, who hurt his left ankle in the first half.

The Dolphins were also out a running back in Week 2, with Kenyan Drake suffering from a foot injury. Miami spread the running duties, with rookie Patrick Laird and fellow undrafted selection Kenneth Farrow both impressing.

Laird rushed for 51 yards over seven carries, while Farrow had 41 rushing yards over three carries.

According to Oddschecker, the Dolphins are 2.5-point favorites and are 83/100 to win and cover the spread, while the Jaguars are 3/2 outsiders. Meanwhile, the over/under bar in terms of points scored is set at 35.
