NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Rosters, Live Stream, TV Channel: Everything You Need to Know About the Game

With the college football season and the College Football Playoff now in the history books, attention switches to the traditional all-star games that conclude the campaign for collegiate athletes.

Over the next two weeks, the three events—the East-West Shrine Game, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and the Senior Bowl—will offer senior college players one final opportunity to put themselves in the shop window ahead of the NFL draft in April.

A host of NFL scouts, head coaches and executives are expected at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Saturday night for the ninth edition of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Two former NFL head coaches will be in charge on the sidelines, with former Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson taking charge of the National Team, while former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis in charge of the American Team.

Both Jackson and Lewis have considerable talent at their disposal. The former can count on Hawaii cornerback Rojesterman Farris II, who has caught eye of observers in practice this week.

Farris finished his senior season with a career-best 39 tackles, one forced recovery and one interception as the Rainbow Warriors went 10-5 to finish top of the Mountain West and defeated BYU in the Hawaii Bowl.

Former NFL cornerback Ricky Manning was among those impressed by Farris, who he believes as a chance to be picked in the NFL draft.

"I think he has an opportunity to make a 53-man [roster]", Manning, one of the defensive backs coaches at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, said of Farris as per

"He's a competitor. That's what the NFL teams want. They want to populate their board with competitive players, defensive players that can play on defense and special teams, and he fits that mould."

Meanwhile, Jackson believes Brian Lewerke also "has a chance" to be among those selected at the NFL draft in April. One of the six quarterbacks in attendance, Lewerke played in three bowl games during his career at Michigan State, where he was starter for three seasons.

"He has exceptional arm talent," Jackson said.

The former Browns head coach also singled out Ohio University signal caller Nathan Rourke, who averaged almost 2,500 passing yards and 900 rushing yards in three seasons.

Troy cornerback Will Sunderland, Appalachian State linebacker Jordan Fehr and his Army counterpart Cole Christiansen are also among the players to have caught the eye this season, along with North Greenville defensive end Chauncy Haney and Chattanooga quarterback Nick Tiano.
