Nintendo eShop Update April 5: 'Detective Pikachu' Demo and 'ARMS' Sale Highlight This Week

This week, the Nintendo eShop update brings new titles to the Switch while also giving players a look at one of this year's biggest 3DS games.

New Nintendo Switch titles include Urban Trial Playground, a game that lets players race on stunt bikes and perform crazy tricks. If platforming RPGs are more your thing, The Adventure Pals leads players on an adventure as a boy with his best friends, a giraffe and a rock.

Detective Pikachu released March 30 but the latest update to the eShop brings a special demo version for Nintendo 3DS owners in Europe and North America. If you're still undecided on whether or not to buy it, you can now try out the demo for Detective Pikachu for free. The demo will only cover parts of the first chapter and you can even transfer save data to the full game once its purchased.

The Nintendo sales for the week of April 5 includes one of Nintendo's newest IPs, ARMS. It'll be 30 percent off until April 6 at 11:59 p.m. EDT so be sure to pick it up by then. There's plenty of other Switch and 3DS games on sale too Here's all of this week's deals.
