No Man's Sky update 1.52 is the second round of polish given to the game since its NEXT update released last week. While problems reloading old saves were the most publicized issue, several small crashes and annoyances surfaced as well. As was true after the release of the Atlas Rises update last year, Hello Games has been very quick to address all small shortcomings as they appear. By using a community-based bug report feature, the small team is able to rapidly isolate and fix glitches.

‘No Man’s Sky’ update 1.52 adds some additional polish to the NEXT update. Hello Games

Even though these numerous performance patches are appreciated by the game's community, the real question worth asking is how No Man's Sky aims to continually improve in a post-NEXT world. Sean Murray and crew seem strongly committed to improving the game, but will the addition of weekly updates and new missions be enough sustain a large player base for a two-year-old game? The redemption story of No Man's Sky is a fascinating one, but now that the game has gained favor with the public, it's time to shift our attention toward the future.

No Man's Sky is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The 1.52 is deploying now across all platforms.
