ICU Nurse Sings 'You Are Not Alone' to Patients in Emotional Viral Video

Health care professionals all across the globe have bravely been putting others first during the pandemic with their heroic work.

But for many their duty is not just limited to their day-to-day tasks, because they know that little acts of kindness can make a big difference to easing human suffering.

And one nurse in Canada has gone above and beyond to help the patients in an intensive care unit (ICU).

The endoscopy nurse, identified as Amy-Lynn Howson, works at Ottawa Hospital, in the Canadian capital city.

In a video posted to Twitter by the hospital's official account, we can see that the warm-hearted health care worker, wearing medical scrubs and a facemask, is playing an acoustic guitar and singing for patients.

The lyrics include the powerful words: "You are not alone."

The footage has since been viewed 76,100 times and received over 3,600 likes.

It is captioned: "This is Amy-Lynn. An endoscopy nurse at The Ottawa Hospital, who has recently been redeployed to the ICU.
