NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool Start Time, Card and How to Watch Online

After weeks of buildup that laid the foundation for WWE’s latest promotion, NXT UK is poised to deliver its first Takeover event.

NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool will bring the promotion its biggest matches to date. Both champions will face their toughest tests yet, while the NXT Tag Team championships will finally have its first holder. Champion Pete Dunne is putting his more than 600-day reign on the line against the leader of the Gallus faction, Joe Coffey. Meanwhile, women’s champ Rhea Ripley looks to continue her dominance over the division when she goes one-on-one with Toni Storm.

Fans of the UK brand won’t have to stay up late to watch the first Takeover event in the promotion’s history.

The event will take place at 2 p.m. EST with a pre-show airing at 1:30 p.m.


NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool can be watched in its entirety on the WWE Network. Viewers are required to sign-up to the WWE Network for a monthly fee, however, the WWE offers a free trial for one month by inputting a payment method.

There is no commitment required and fans can cancel their subscription at any time. The trial will allow fans to watch NXT: Takeover Phoenix and Royal Rumble 2019, which takes place on January 27.

Fans can download the WWE Network on iOS and Android devices to watch it online and on the go. The WWE Network is also available on PS4 and Xbox One, simply by searching “WWE Network” on the PlayStation and Microsoft stores.


The card for NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool includes two championship matches, two feuds featuring four of the promotion’s up-and-coming superstars and the crowning of the first NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
