NYCFC vs. Sporting Kansas City TV Channel and Live Stream: How to Watch MLS Game Live

New York City FC will be looking to consolidate a playoff spot when it hosts Sporting Kansas City at Yankee Stadium on Friday night.

The Citizens are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference, just three points ahead of Toronto FC. The Canadians are currently the first team out of the playoff picture and have played three games more than New York City FC.

Five points currently separate Sporting Kansas City from a playoff berth and after losing at home against FC Dallas last week the Wizards can't afford to slip up again.

A lack of consistency has been a major problem for both teams, with New York City following a four-game winning run by losing two matches in a row, before beating the Colorado Rapids away last week.

Sporting Kansas City, meanwhile, has won three and lost three of its last six games, including the 2-0 reversal against FC Dallas on Saturday.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Friday.
