Finally, some good news at last in 2017: The feud between Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher is apparently over, just in time for the holidays.

On Tuesday, Liam, 45, tweeted about his older brother:

The Mancunian musician said that Noel had “reached out” and, “We’re all good again.”

The apparent reunion comes nearly a decade after Noel, 50, quit Oasis in August 2009 as tensions between him and Liam reached boiling point. "People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer,” Noel said at the time.

The brothers had been struggling to get along in the months before Noel’s exit. Liam told NME magazine earlier in 2009 he and his brother only spoke occasionally. "He doesn't like me and I don't like him, that's it," he said.

Liam has fired repeated shots at his brother Noel on Twitter and in interviews over the last several years. In June, Liam attacked Noel for failing to appear at the One Love Manchester benefit concert, which was organized by Ariana Grande, whose concert in the city a month earlier was targeted in a terror attack.

A spokesperson for One Love Manchester said Noel had already made commitments out of the country before the concert was organized, however, the singer “gave his blessing for us to use his songs, but also told us that he was donating his royalties from 'Don't Look Back in Anger'” to benefit a fund set up to support victims of the Manchester bombing in May. He also performed at the reopening of the Manchester Arena in September.

Liam released his debut solo album, As You Were, in October. He previously released music with the band Beady Eye, which included other Oasis band members.

In September, Liam told Newsweek he doesn't miss performing with Noel. "He's changed. He's a different person than what I am. But I don't miss anyone. I'm where I'm meant to be. I don't miss Gem [Archer, former bandmate]. I don't miss Andy [Bell]. I've got a new bunch of guys that are in a band, and we're having a good time," he said.

Noel, meanwhile, released his third album as part of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in November.
