Watch the Oscar Nominations 2020 Live Stream: 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Announced by Issa Rae and Jon Cho

The Oscars are coming, and the nominations will be announced Monday, with the likes of 1917 and Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood vying for best picture.

The nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards will be revealed at 8:18 a.m. Eastern time (5:18 a.m. Pacific time). The announcement is hosted by Insecure star Issa Rae and Star Trek actor Jon Cho.

According to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the nominations will be revealed in two parts and will end approximately at 8:41 a.m. Eastern (5:41 a.m. Pacific).

According to the Academy, the presentation will begin at 8:18 a.m. with the announcement of nominees in the following categories: original score, animated short, live action short, sound editing, sound mixing, film editing, costume design, actor in a supporting role and actress in a supporting role.

Following a break, the announcement continues at 8:30 a.m. Eastern with the nominations revealed for the big categories including best picture, directing, actor in a leading role, actress in a leading role, animated feature film, documentary feature, original screenplay, adapted screenplay and original song. Rae and Cho will also reveal the nominees for cinematography, documentary short subject, international feature film, visual effects, makeup and hairstyling, production design and visual effects.

Awards season began earlier in January when the likes of 1917 and Once Upon a Time... nabbed statues at the Golden Globe Awards on January 5. 1917, directed by Sam Mendes, won best drama, while Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time won best musical or comedy. Also feted on the night, Joaquin Phoenix won best actor in a drama for Joker and Taron Egerton won best actor in a musical or comedy for Rocketman; in the actress categories, Awkwafina won best actress in a drama for The Farewell and Renee Zellweger won best actress in a comedy or musical for Judy.

All of the above are hotly tipped to receive Oscar nominations. Other movies expected to earn nods include Marriage Story, The Two Popes, Frozen II, Toy Story 4, Parasite, Little Women and The Irishman. Once Upon a Time...'s Brad Pitt, Adam Driver (Marriage Story), Scarlett Johansson (Marriage Story), Margot Robbie (Bombshell) and Saorise Ronan (Little Women) are also expected to be nominated for their performances. The Oscars 2020 take place on Sunday, February 9, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony will air on ABC from 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
