Oscars 2019 Live Stream, TV Channel, Red Carpet: How, Where to Watch the Oscars Awards Sunday Online?
The Academy Awards may be all about recognizing the hard work and talent that went into creating some of the best films of the year, but it's the glamour of the movie industry's biggest event fans love the most. The gowns, the jewels, the hair, the poses, all the regality of Hollywood on display in one single night—and year after year, viewers tune into the Oscars red carpet for the fashion. This year will be no different.
Luckily viewers without access to a TV won't be left in the dark on all the 2019 Oscars fashion that's sure to light up screens across the country when the 91st annual Academy Awards air on Sunday. The lavish awards ceremony is slated to air live on the ABC network at 8 p.m. ET, however, red carpet coverage will be available on a number of platforms, some of which will also feature live streaming options for viewers.
For the first time ever, ABC is moving its red carpet coverage of the Oscars to Twitter. Viewers can catch all the nominees, presenters, performers and all the rest of upper echelon Hollywood make their way down the carpet by following the live stream on The Academy's Twitter page, @TheAcademy, starting at 6:30 p.m. ET sharp. Oscars All Access: Red Carpet Live will be hosted by Laura Marano, Louis Virtel and Chris Connelly.
Viewers tuning into the red carpet live stream on Twitter will also be able to send their questions for stars via the social media app, giving the opportunity for direct conversation between Hollywood's elite and the audience. Oscars watchers can submit their burning questions by using the hashtag #OscarsAllAccess.
Along with the Twitter live stream, E! is also airing its annual E! Live From the Red Carpet: Oscars 2019 show, hosted by network veterans Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest. Along with live coverage of the Oscars red carpet, E! will feature streaming options of the show across its digital platforms as well as mobile and social sites via E! Stream: The Red Carpet presented by AT&T, accessible on the network's website and app starting at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday.
