How to Watch Oscars 2020: Live Stream, Red Carpet, Air Time and More Info on 92nd Academy Awards

Hollywood's big night has finally arrived. The 2020 Oscars will officially kick off on Sunday, during which some of the industry's most elite players will celebrate actors, filmmakers and crew members for their contributions to the arts.

The 92nd annual Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and is set to air live on ABC on Sunday beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

In addition to broadcast TV, viewers at home can watch their favorite actors and directors take home the biggest awards of the night by tuning into ABC's live stream of the lavish ceremony. They can also tune into the show's live stream on ABC's website as well as the ABC app, however, a cable provider login is necessary to access the stream. Those with pay services like Hulu + Live, YouTube TV, PlayStation Vue and DirectTV Now can also watch the Oscars on any smart device on those platforms as well.

And movie buffs don't have to miss out all the glam that's sure the grace the red carpet either. The Oscars Red Carpet Show—ABC's official coverage of the event—is also available for viewing via live stream starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Talk-show host and journalist Tamron Hall will host ABC's preshow along with Pose star Billy Porter, supermodel Lily Aldridge and film critic Elvis Mitchell. Along with discussing the top contenders for awards, the red carpet coverage will include interviews with celebrities as they arrive as well as details on all the fashion on display throughout the night.

ABC's post-award coverage will spill over into Monday with the ninth consecutive year of Live's After Oscar Show, hosted by Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, beginning at 9 a.m. ET.

The Oscars will completely take over the E! network on Sunday, starting with the E! Countdown to the Red Carpet: Oscars 2020 show beginning at 1 p.m. ET. E!'s most notably correspondents will be on hand to reflect on movie stars' most fashionable moments of the awards season and seasons past.

Then the network will air its E! Live From the Red Carpet: Oscars 2020 show. Beginning at 5 p.m. ET., Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic will host and interview stars as they arrive. Following the red carpet show is E's Red Carpet Rundown: Oscars 2020, during which E! correspondents will break down the biggest fashion moments of the night, at 7 p.m. ET.

After the final award is handed out, the E! After Party: Oscars 2020 show will air starting at 11:30 p.m. ET.

E!'s coverage can also be live-streamed on the network's website and app in addition to Hulu + Live, YouTube TV and other pay-for services.
