Oscars 2019 Live Stream: How, Where to Watch the Oscars Awards Tonight Online?

The biggest award show of the season has arrived. Hollywood's elite will flood the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles for the 91st annual Academy Awards on Sunday.

Although the 2019 Oscars Awards are set to air live on the ABC network—the ceremony kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday—viewers without access to a TV don't have to miss out on their favorite actors accepting the highest honors of the night. The entire awards show will be available for watching via live stream on ABC's website and the ABC app. Movie buffs should note they will need to log in with their cable provider information to access the streams.

Viewers can also get in on all the Hollywood glamour of the night by tuning into The Oscars All Access: Red Carpet Live, which will be exclusively streamed on The Academy's Twitter page (@TheAcademy). The red carpet show, hosted by Laura Marano, Louis Virtel and Chris Connelly, will cover all the Oscars arrivals, including interviews with Oscars nominees, presenters and performers. The red carpet live stream starts at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Throughout the night some of Hollywood's biggest stars will not only present and accept awards, but they'll also be hosting the show too. Unlike previous Oscars ceremonies, which featured one main host of the night, the 91 Academy Awards will have a string of hosts manning the show.

Initially, Kevin Hart was pegged to host the show. Old homophobic tweets Hart wrote in the early 2000s resurfaced shortly after The Academy announced the actor as the 2019 host, sparking instant backlash. Refusing to apologize for the tweets, which Hart said he had already previously apologized for, the comedian decided to step down from the hosting post altogether.

The Academy ultimately chose not to replace Hart, but rather allow a variety of A-listers to present awards. There will also be five musical performances during this year's Oscars, four of which are nominated for awards.
