All Kiriko Abilities and Ultimate

  • Healing Ofuda (Primary Weapon): Send healing Ofuda cards toward allies, up to 10 at a time, before reloading. They travel at a slow pace, but they can zero in on allies if you need them to reach those in critical health in a pinch.
  • Kunai (Secondary Weapon): Toss a projectile capable of dealing critical damage. It's perfect for close-range or long-range combat if you need to swoop in and save someone or deal just enough damage to kill off a weak opponent.
  • Swift Step (Ability): Teleport to an ally within Kiriko's range, whether this is behind walls or not.
  • Protection Suzu (Ability): Toss a charm at teammates to cleanse negative status effects like Junker Queen's Wound effect. It also grants invulnerability for a few moments. Kiriko can cast this on herself as well.
  • Kitsune Rush (Ultimate): Summon a spectral fox that gives attack, movement and cooldown buffs to the entire swath of enemies around her.
  • Wall Climb (Passive Ability): Quickly scale walls and reach teammates who may be out of reach, camping to set up sniper rounds, or anyone Kiriko needs to get to—fast.

How to Play as Kiriko

Kiriko is first and foremost a healer, but similar to support heroes like Zenyatta, she has plenty of abilities that allow her to be a force to be reckoned with in terms of dealing damage. To that end, use Kiriko's Healing Ofuda cards when you're close enough to other heroes, as you'll need to anticipate how long it can take for them to reach allies and how long it'll take to heal them. You can pair this with the Protection Suzu, which can be used as an effective "salve" to ensure all of your allies are cured of negative status effects as well.

But just because Kiriko is an effective healer doesn't mean she's not worth trying out as a DPS team member. Paired with strict healers like Mercy, Kiriko can act as a damage dealer thanks to her Kunai's critical damage. If you're adept at landing headshots, you'll find that you're dealing lethal blows more often than not as Kiriko. And don't forget to use Swift Step, which means Kiriko can not only heal teammates in need, but she can stave off enemies as well.

Overwatch 2 is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
