You Can Get Paid $1,000 to Talk About How Great Your Dog Is

Calling all animal lovers, now you can get paid to talk for hours about how great your dog truly is.

If you're always boring your friends and family to death with updates about your dog's antics, then this is the perfect position for you.

The Thank Your Vet Organization is looking to pay a trio of proud pet owners $1,000 each to wax lyrical about their pooch.

The dream job involves four one-on-one video calls with members of the team, where they'll ask you questions about your dog's health and nutrition.

Sample questions include information on your dog's breed, what food you give them, why you selected it, how often you change their food type, and if you give your animal any health supplements.

The calls will take place over a two-week period, and as well as $1,000 the lucky owners will also receive a free goodie bag filled with dog food samples, toys and supplements.

Explaining more about the purpose of the research study, the job ad says: "These individuals will work with our team to help us learn what the average dog owner feeds their dog, why they feed them that type of food, and other questions to help us understand the mindset of the average dog owner when it comes to the health and nutrition of their dog."

In total, three dog owners will be picked to take part, and as well as the video calls—which will be completely remote—the participants will also be required to fill out a few questionnaires.

In order to apply, you need to be over 18 and own at least one dog, while good levels of English are also required.

But the Thank Your Vet Organization added they're looking for ordinary dog owners, rather than anyone working with animals in a professional capacity.

"We are looking for the average dog owner so if you are a professional dog trainer, veterinarian, or other experienced dog professional, please don't apply," they stated.

While there's no end date on the application, the job advert says they'll go through applications "over the coming weeks" and contact successful applicants.

In order to apply, you'll need to fill out the form, which can be accessed here, and answer a few initial questions.

These include sharing information on your dog's age, breed and of course, their food, and you'll also need to tell the team why you want to be part of their research study.
