Panthers vs. Steelers Thursday Night Football Info: Odds, Score Update, Predictions, Live Stream, Start Time for Carolina, Pittsburgh Game

Two teams looking to gain momentum in their respective conferences will meet in this week's Thursday Night Football primetime matchup.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2-1) will host the Carolina Panthers (6-2) at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh tonight.

The Steelers are currently first in the AFC North and fourth in the conference standings, trailing the Los Angeles Chargers by one game.

The Panthers are second in the NFC South and third in the conference, trailing their division rival, the New Orleans Saints, by one game.

Carolina enters Thursday's matchup on a three-game winning streak, which includes a 42-28 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. Pittsburgh has won four consecutive games after picking up a 23-16 road win against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Steelers managed to turn their season around after a disappointing 1-2-1 start and have made improvements on defense during their last four games.

"We are growing every day," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told ESPN. "Guys are getting better. Technically, they are growing in terms of knowledge, they are growing in terms of situational understanding and when you do those things you make plays, and you minimize negativity and those two things happen at the same time. Hopefully we've made a few plays and hopefully we've prevented a few plays with that approach."

The Steelers will also be without Le'Veon Bell who continues his holdout despite being spotted in the Pittsburgh area on Wednesday.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Bell was photographed playing basketball at a local L.A. Fitness, which was confirmed by the gym's manager on Wednesday.

The Steelers are reportedly aware that Bell is back in town and expected to contact him about his physical, although a member of the organization said that he hadn't made contact with the running back as of Wednesday afternoon's walkthrough, according to NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala.

Here's the info you need to know for tonight's game.

"This should be a fun one. James Conner has been on a tear for the Steelers -- Le'Veon who? -- and that offense is difficult to stop already anyway with Antonio Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster in the fold at receiver. This is a rare Thursday night battle of legitimate contenders, and the Steelers should have the upper hand."
