Parkland Student Emma Gonzalez Towers Over Comedian Louis C.K. In Jim Carrey's Latest Painting

Comedian Jim Carrey's new painting targets comedian Louis C.K. following the comments he made about the Parkland students during one of his stand-up routines.

In Carrey's latest painting, gun control activist and Marjorie Stoneman Douglas student Emma Gonzalez is towering over a small stick figure with a microphone, who is supposed to represent Louis C.K.

"Louie can't C. K?" Carrey wrote as the caption of his latest painting.

The comedian's latest painting comes just a few days after leaked audio of his stand-up set from December 16. During his set, Louis C.K. made fun of the students who became gun control activists following the shooting at a Parkland high school in February 2018, which killed 17 people.

"I don't know. They testified in front of Congress, these kids," Louis C.K. can be heard saying. "Like, what the f***. What are you doing? You're young. You should be crazy. You should be unhinged, not in a suit saying, 'I'm here to tell'… f*** you. You're not interesting cause you went to a high school where kids got shot. Why does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting? You didn't get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way and now I got to listen to you talk?"

The 51-year-old disgraced comedian's set also targeted people's genders and how they should be identified.

Following the remarks against the Parkland students, survivors from the shooting and supporters responded to Louis C.K's stand-up set. Fred Guttenberg, who lost his daughter during the shooting in 2018, slammed the disgraced comic's jokes and called them "pathetic."

"To anyone who knows Louis CK, please deliver this message for me. My daughter was killed in the Parkland shooting. My son ran from the bullets. My wife and I deal with loss everyday. Why don't you come to my house and try out your new pathetic jokes?" Guttenberg tweeted.

This is not the first painting Carrey has created to make a political statement or criticize others. His last cartoon was of Stephen Miller, the senior advisor for policy for President Donald Trump. In the painting, Miller can be seen spraying a can of what appears to be feces on the bald spot of his head.

"Stephen Miller: Paint for Hair, Shit for Brains," the caption of the cartoon reads.

Carrey has also created cartoons of Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and many other political figures.
