America's Got Talent "Parmesan Song" Lyrics In Full

Set against an acoustic guitar, the "Parmesan Song" is all about a man's love for, you guessed it, parmesan cheese.

The song also covers his upset when waiters at a restaurant never seem to give him enough parmesan.

The hilarious and frustratingly catchy lyrics will have you singing about your love for the Italian delicacy all day, with the words "I always want more parmesan but I'm embarrassed" on the front of your mind.

Other funny lyrics include "for god's sake I'm a grown-up, I have rights and I will not be shamed for my cheese intake" and "why are they so stingy? is there a shortage of parmesan?"

Newsweek has the full lyrics below:

When I get pasta
at a restaurant
and the waiter
comes around
with the parmesan cheese and he says
'parmesan?' and I say please

He gives me a spoonful
and says would you like more and I say
'sure' as if it's no big deal as if it's
not my reason for
choosing an Italian restaurant in the
the first place he looks at me and says
'is that good? 'yeah that's good thanks'

I always want more parmesan but I'm embarrassed
I always want more parmesan
but I'm embarrassed that's me

Why are they so stingy?
Is there a shortage of parmesan?
Is it really that expensive?
I just want more cheese, is that so wrong?
just leave it on the table
for god's sake, I'm a grown-up
I have rights and I will not be shamed for my cheese intake

I will not remain silent
I will not give in
I will die
I always want more parmesan

During his performance of the "Parmesan Song," Lapidus received four red X's from judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum before he could finish his song.

Cowell stated: "I don't like parmesan. I don't like your song, so I'm saying no," and Vergara chimed in: "It's a no; I don't know what was happening."

However, the crowd was not happy with the judge's reaction at all and chanted "parmesan," leading the judges to reverse their red X's and send Lapidus through to the next round.

Cowell joked: "I wanna kill you right now, 'cause I can't get that, 'I want more parmesan,' out of my brain. Take the 'X' away, I'm giving you a yes."

Vergara added: "It was a horrific song, and now we're gonna have to hear this guy again."

If you love the song, you can stream it now via Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and Tidal.

America's Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
