Pastor Greg Locke Says Trump Won Election But It Was Stolen, Insists He's Not a False Prophet

Controversial pastor Greg Locke said in a fiery speech to congregants on Sunday that former President Donald Trump did win the 2020 election as he had predicted, but isn't in the White House because it was stolen from him.

In a video shared to Twitter, Locke, leader of the Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, pushed back against critics that have accused him of being a false prophet.

"I did predict and I did say that Donald Trump was going to win the presidency of the United States," he told the crowd. "I made the statement that Donald Trump was going to win, right. 100%. I kept saying, 'Yes he is going to remain in the White House.' Everybody said, 'Oh my goodness, he didn't do it, he's a false prophet.'"

The pastor added: "Now, let me tell you something, if I predict that your team is going to win and you do, but the opposing coach breaks into your house in the middle of the night and steals your trophy, that ain't on me. That don't make me false. That makes them liars and crooks. Amen. That's what it makes them."

Locke is just one of many conservatives who have rejected Biden's election win after Trump repeatedly claimed without evidence that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

After Trump's election loss in November, Locke continued to insist Trump would remain in power, as the then-president launched dozens of lawsuits seeking to overturn the election results in the remaining weeks of his presidency. The Trump campaign's lawsuits largely failed in court.

Ahead of Biden's inauguration in January, Locke said, "I'm telling you with all of my soul and all of my heart, I've not lost one moment of sleep over what's going to happen on [January] 6th and what's going to happen on the 20th. I'm telling you, we've got this thing in the bag."

Trump publicly conceded and said he would not serve another term for the first time on January 7, a day after his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an effort to overturn the election results. The violent riot left five people dead, including one Capitol police officer.

"A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20," Trump said a video. "My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power."

In a statement to Newsweek, Locke claimed that Trump "never conceded the election."

"He said he would give a smooth transition of power. Trump still insists that he won," he added.
