Paula White's Trump Prayers Go Viral on Twitter, Inspire Memes and Remixes

A video of Paula White, President Donald Trump's spiritual adviser, praying for his re-election has sparked memes and remixes. The footage of White has been giving a variety of new backings, with everything from EDM to Eminem.

Right Wing Watch, a project that "monitors and exposes the activities of Radical Right political organizations," shared the video of White "leading an impassioned prayer service in an effort to secure Trump's re-election." It has been viewed 16.5 million times on Twitter at the time of writing.

In the video, White is heard saying: "Strike, strike, strike until you have victory, for every enemy that is aligned against you, let there be that we would strike the ground for you will give us victory, God.

"I hear a sound of an abundance of rain, I hear a sound of victory, I hear a sound of shouting and singing, I hear a sound of victory."

White repeats the "I hear a sound of an abundance of rain, I hear a sound of victory," a couple of times and then says: "The Lord says it is done, the Lord says it is done, the Lord says it is done.

"For I hear victory, victory, victory, victory in the quarters of heaven, in the quarters of heaven I hear victory...

"For angels are being released right now, angels are being dispatched right now, [speaks in tongues] for angels have even been dispatched from Africa right now, Africa right now, Africa right now, they're coming here, they're coming here in the name of Jesus, from South America, they're coming here..."

White then spoke in tongues and repeated the line "I hear the sound of victory" over and over.

The prayer was shared widely on social media and inspired memes and remixes.

Twitter user Capitaine OSEF posted a video that set White's prayer to an instrumental version of Eminem's "Without Me" with the popular TikTok trend of the nodding white cat bobbing along, which has been viewed around two million times at the time of writing.

In the video of White, a man can be seen walking back and forth across the stage, which caught the attention of Sarah Mackie, who posted an edited video featuring the Confused Travolta meme from Pulp Fiction.

Finally, Kevin Gannon made a few remixes including one where he added the song "Bodies" by nu-metal icons Drowning Pool, an arguably more enjoyable listen than the original audio.
