Updated | The Kentucky Derby--dubbed "the most exciting two minutes in sports--is perhaps the true mark of spring. People flock by the dozens to sip mint juleps, break out their most ostentatious hats and revel in the sun during the horse race at Churchill Downs, in Louisville. Saturday's was the 141st running—the winning horse was American Pharoah—but this year also marks a first: A woman will narrate the opening to the event.
