Nearly one year after tying the knot, Pippa Middleton and her husband, financier James Matthews, are expecting their first child together, British newspaper The Sun reported on Sunday.

Middleton is reportedly already 12 weeks along and is slated to give birth sometime in October. Middleton and Matthews have shared the news with friends and family members, including Middleton's big sister Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge.

The couple exchanged vows back in May 2017 at a lavish ceremony at St. Mark's church attended by about 150 guests. Before marrying, Middleton, a party-planning author, and Matthew dated briefly in 2012. However, a split resulted in Middleton going on to date Nico Jackson for about three years, but when that relationship ended, Middleton and Matthews officially reconnected.

The couple's baby news came one day before Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child with Prince William. Kensington Palace announced the arrival of William and Kate Middleton's new baby—a boy—in a statement on Monday, revealing the infant was delivered around 11 a.m. London time, weighing 8 pounds and 7 ounces.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news," the statement said. "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.

Kate Middleton and William's newest bundle of joy joins their other two children, 4-year-old Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who turns 3 in May.

But the baby news surrounding Pippa Middleton doesn't end there. Her brother-in-law, former Made in Chelsea reality star Spencer Matthews, announced in March he was expecting his first child with model fiancée Vogue Williams.

Pippa Middleton pregnancy announcement came two weeks after her husband's father, David Matthews, the owner of St. Barths' famous Eden Roc hotel, was placed under investigation. He was accused of raping a female minor in the late 90s, though the incident wasn't reported until 2017. A representative for David Matthews said the former race car driver "categorically denies the allegation and unequivocally contests the untrue and scandalous accusation."
