'Pokémon Go' Update: Regional Eggs Extended

If you missed out on the original regional-exclusive Pokémon event in Pokémon Go, you're in luck! Niantic extended how long Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, Farfetch'd and Tauros will hatch from 7km Eggs.

According to the official Pokémon Go Twitter account, the four region-exclusive Pokémon will continue to hatch from 7km Eggs until Oct. 8.

Originally, Niantic planned to stop distribution of the special 7km Eggs with the end of the Kanto event on Sept. 30 but the change of plans now gives trainers one more week to grab these rare Pokémon and fill up their Pokedex.

As a reminder, 7km Eggs that were obtained prior to Sept. 13 will not have a chance to hatch the four region-exclusive Pokémon. It's also not guaranteed that the 7km Egg will hatch into Tauros, Farfetch'd, Mr. Mime or Kangaskhan as most of the Alola Pokémon also appear from them including: Geodude, Diglett, Grimer, Vulpix and Sandshrew. The only way to obtain more 7km Eggs is through gifts from your friends. The more friends, the better chance you have to getting one.

The Kanto event began on Sept. 13 and changed the Pokémon that appeared in the wild, in Raid Battles and in Eggs. The event also gave players a chance to catch Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos in Raid Battles as well as Mewtwo.

Have you been able to catch the all four region-exclusive Pokémon? Which ones are you missing? Let us know in the comments section below.
