'Pokémon Go' Egg Update: Rayquaza's Victory Changes What Hatches
The latest Pokémon Go challenge, which gave players another chance to catch Rayquaza, Kyogre and Groudon, has ended. However, the aftereffects of your battles with these three behemoths can still be felt based on what's hatching in Eggs.
From March 5-16, Pokémon that hatch from Eggs in Pokémon Go will be influenced by which of the three Legendaries trainers captured the most. If Rayquaza was defeated more than Kyogre and Groudon combined, Pokémon that are boosted by windy weather (Dragon, Psychic, Flying) are more likely to hatch. If Kyogre/Groudon were defeated more than Rayquaza, Pokémon that prefer rainy (Water, Electric, Bug) or sunny (Fire, Ground, Grass) days are more likely to hatch from Eggs.
Niantic revealed that Rayquaza was captured the most so Pokémon Go players should expect Eggs obtained from now until March 16 to have an increased chance to contain certain Pokémon. But which Pokémon should trainers expect? Reddit user Stealthless5 on the Silph Road subreddit created a chart showing the Pokémon that will appear if Rayquaza won.
