'Pokémon Go' Feebas Event: Start Time, Research Tasks and More

The next Pokémon Go Event is an event-within-an-event. So, for a few hours on Saturday, trainers will be able to receive new Research Tasks to find and catch Feebas.

The Hoenn Celebration event has started in Pokémon Go but this Feebas event will give trainers more chances to catch this rare Pokémon. They'll even have a chance to encounter a Shiny Feebas for the first time in the mobile game.

If you're looking to take advantage of the upcoming Feebas event, here's all the information you need including Start time and the Research Tasks to expect.

WHAT TIME DOES THE FEEBAS EVENT START?

The Feebas event in Pokémon Go will begin Saturday, January 19 from 2-5 p.m. EST.

FEEBAS RESEARCH TASKS

During the three-hour event, new Research Tasks in Pokémon Go will appear from PokeStops.

These tasks will give Pokémon Go players an encounter with Feebas one of the rarer Pokémon from the Hoenn Region. There's also an increased chance to encounter a Shiny Feebas so trainers will want to complete as many of these Research Tasks as possible.

While the Research Tasks for the Feebas event haven't been confirmed yet, Chrales on Twitter posted what looks to be the quest texts.

It should also be noted that once you've received a task from a PokeStop, you won't receive another from that same spot. You'll need to travel to other PokeStops as often as you can during the three-hour window.
