Here's Every Mega Evolution That Will Eventually Be Added to 'Pokémon Go'

Pokémon Go is adding Mega Evolutions in a major update that will change how trainers battle and play the popular mobile game.

While only a handful of Pokémon will be able to Mega Evolve when the update goes live on Thursday, there's a long list of Pokémon from across the generations that have the ability to undergo this transformation that some Pokémon Go players may not know about.

Mega Charizard (both X and Y), Blastoise, Venusaur and Beedrill will be available in Pokémon Go initially, but trainers looking to get a more powerful Pokémon that will eventually Mega Evolve, they may want to start looking now.

Many Pokémon Go players are not familiar with the list of every Mega Pokémon in the franchise, so this list will help trainers figure out who gets a Mega Evolution and how this new transformation changes certain Pokémon's typings.
