Reshiram is a Dragon and Fire-type Pokémon making it weak to Ground, Dragon and Rock-type attacks. It resists the following types and players should avoid using Pokémon that use these moves: Water, Electric, Grass, Bug, Steel, and Fire.

Being weak to Ground, Dragon and Rock-type attacks make Reshiram a semi-easy battle because of the powerful Pokémon of those types already available in the game. You can try these Pokémon to take into battle against Reshiram.

  • Rhyperior with Mud Slap and Rock Wrecker
  • Haxorus with Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw
  • Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Garchomp with Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw
  • Terrakion with Smackdown and Rock Slide

Other Pokémon that would excel at fighting Reshiram include Rampardos, Dragonite, Gigalith and Alolan Golem.

The Raids in Pokémon Go haven't changed since aside from Reshiram being included in Level 5 battles. The rest of the Raid Battles are occupied by Pokémon from the Sinnoh region to help players complete the tasks for this event.
