'Pokémon Go' Sustainability Week Event: Start Time, Field Research and More

Each year, Niantic and Pokémon Go put on a Sustainability Week event to put a focus on Niantic's efforts to help clean up the planet.

Niantic's Sustainability Campaign partners with non-profits to host cleanup events around the world. To promote and bring awareness to Niantic's efforts, Pokémon Go will have its own event to celebrate the initiative. If you want to learn more about Niantic's efforts and how to get involved, you can read the company's official blog.

This year, Pokémon Go will introduce a new Pokémon and Shiny form to the game. Also, more bonuses and updates to the mobile game will be arriving during the Sustainability Week event.
