The Throwback Challenge Champion event begins Wednesday, June 3, at 1 p.m. local time. The event will end Monday, June 8, at 1 p.m. local time.

Like the other legs of this special event, the special research tasks are unknown until the challenge goes live on Wednesday.

Stunfisk will be available in Raids, while 7km Eggs will house all of the Galarian Pokémon listed above.

Trainers will also be able to evolve Meowth, Zigzagoon and Darumaka into their evolved forms during this event, so be sure to stock up on candies.

Completing the special research tasks will also give trainers Professor Willow's glasses as an avatar customization item.

Pokémon Go trainers should also expect Pokémon from the Unova region to appear more frequently in the overworld. Pokémon like the starters, Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott and other Gen 5 Pokémon like Pidoveand Lillipup are also very likely to appear more frequently.
