'Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee' Trailer Reveals New Moves, Nintendo Switch Bundle Details
A new trailer for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let's Go Eevee reveals new aspects of the upcoming Nintendo Switch game including how trainers will traverse the Kanto Region without the use of Hidden Machines (HMs) as well as a new Switch bundle.
Prior to Pokémon Sun and Moon, trainers would use these HMs to surf, cut down trees and fly to different areas of a region, but the Alola Region eliminated the need for them with the implementation of Ride Pokémon.
Check out how players will be able to surf and fly around the Kanto Region in the latest Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee trailer.
In Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, your Pikachu or Eevee will learn "Secret Techniques" that will help trainers get around the region. These moves can be used outside of battle to Cut (now called Chop Down), Surf (now called Sea Skim) and Fly (Sky Dash).

The new trailer also revealed exclusive new moves for your partner Pokémon. These moves will help players in battle by unleashing powerful attacks or buffing another Pokémon's power.
Once the relationship with Pikachu or Eevee reaches a certain level, the partner Pokémon will occasionally send a sign during battle that its partner power can be used. If the Pokémon is not in battle, a signal can still go up and instead of the exclusive move being unleashed it'll boost the battling Pokémon's stats.
Two of Pikachu's exclusive moves were revealed to be Pika Papow and Splishy Splash. Pika Papow's power can increase depending on how strong the player's bond is with their partner Pikachu. Splishy Splash is a Water-type attack that has the chance to paralyze.
Eevee has Veevee Volley, which also scales up depending on the trainer's bond with Eevee. Bouncy Bubble is a Water-type move that will heal Eevee half the damage dealt to the opponent. Buzzy Buzz is an Electric-type attack that can paralyze the opponent. Sizzly Slide is a Fire-type attack that will always leave the opponent with the burn status.
Nintendo also announced a Switch bundle for Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee that gives players the console, Pikachu and Eevee-themed Joy-Cons, a digital copy of the game and the Poke Ball Plus. The special bundle will release on Nov. 16 but no price has been confirmed yet.
