'Pokémon Sword and Shield' Isle of Armor DLC: List of Returning Pokémon

One of the biggest parts of the Pokémon Sword and Shield DLCis the expansion of the Galar region PokeDex to include more older generation Pokémon.

As The Pokémon Company and Game Freak continued to give more information on the first part of the expansion pass, The Isle of Armor, players were excited to see some of their favorite older Pokémon return on the Nintendo Switch.

With The Isle of Armor DLC available to download now, we finally have a complete list of returning Pokémon that can be caught in the wild, in Max Raid Battles or transferred over from Pokémon Home.

Certain Pokémon that have other regional forms like Alola forms can be transferred over with their original counterpart. For example, the Sandshrew line returns in this DLC which means Alolan Sandshrew and Alolan Sandslash can now be transferred to Sword and Shield. This is also the case for Alolan Marowak and Exeggutor.

Read the complete list of returning Pokémon in The Isle of Armor DLC separated by the generation they were introduced.

Of course, if your favorite Pokémon wasn't included in The Isle of Armor, the second part of the expansion pass will release later this year.

The Crown Tundra DLC, which is scheduled for release some time in the fall, will likely include the rest of the Pokémon, but that has yet to be confirmed. Trailers and the official Pokémon site have given hints as to which Pokémon will return--especially Legendary Pokémon--but until the expansion is released we won't know for certain.

Pokémon Sword and Shield and The Isle of Armor DLC are available now for Nintendo Switch.
