The first bit of information revealed Galarian Weezing's mystery ability. This new ability is called Neutralizing Gas, Itsuppresses all other abilities on the field, including your teammates. Rotom's Levitate and Gastrodon's Storm Drain abilities were shown as examples of specific abilities being negated. Once Galarian Weezing leaves the field, the effects of the opposing team like Intimidate will go off.

Corviknight's hidden ability was revealed, and it's a new one called Mirror Armor. This ability reflects any stat lowering effects back at the opposing Pokémon.

The official Sword and Shield site revealed that hidden abilities can be found by catching Pokémon in Max Raid battles. It's not guaranteed, so trainers will need to participate in as many as they can.

Two new held items were also shown. The first is Room Service, which lowers the speed of the Pokémon that holds this item when Trick Room is activated. This allows for that Pokémon to likely move first as long as Trick Room is active.

The second is Eject Pack, which forces the Pokémon holding this item to switch out when its stats are lowered. An example of Duralodon using Draco Meteor being switched out after its special attack is reduced.

Breaking Swipe is a brand new attack that hits two Pokémon, and lowers the attack of each Pokémon hit. The type of this attack is unknown, but the trailer shows Flygon using it.

Some interesting tidbits about Dynamax Pokémon were also revealed in the new trailer. First, Dynamax Pokémon cannot be flinched, giving them the freedom to attack freely.

We see the secondary effect of Max Moves being used. The electric-type Max Move creates Electric Terrain on the field. The Fighting-type Max Move increases the attack of all Pokémon on your side of the field. The Ice-type Max Move causes Hail to fall. The Flying-type Max Move gets rid of walls and other traps.

Pokémon Sword and Shield will release November 15 for Nintendo Switch.
