Experiencing Portland's 'Feast for the Senses'

The sixth annual Feast Portland takes places this weekend at different events across Oregon's largest city. From a carnivore-friendly glorified backyard barbeque to an event called "Vegetables: A Love Story," the food festival in one of the country's top culinary destinations is a gourmand's dream.

It's come to this: gourmands from across the country pouring into Portland, Ore., to stuff their faces with small plates from some of the state and the country's top chefs. Feast Portland, now in its sixth year, is a charity event that has raised more than $300,000 to fight childhood hunger during its first five years. Most of the more than 40 events during the four-day festival sell out well in advance. Our favorite images from this year's festival.
