Post Malone and Joe Rogan Talk Pentagon UFO News While High on Psychedelic Mushrooms

The truth is out there and Post Malone knows it. The rapper made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast this week where he opened up about his multiple UFO sightings.

The "Circles" rapper sat down with Rogan for a lengthy chat about everything from mask-wearing and ghosts to The Chainsmokers—and extraterrestrial life while high on psychedelic mushrooms.

The duo revealed they took some psychedelic mushrooms before they began, resulting in some interesting conversation topics.

"I've seen one. I was probably 16. I was in upstate New York," the 25-year-old said on the subject of UFOs at about 20 minutes into the conversation.

"Let me precursor this: My aunt and uncle were very strict, and we had to go to bed at very strict deadline—probably 10 p.m. I was looking out the window with my cousin and it's just a light that just stays there and then just f**kin' goes off ... You can't explain it," he said.

The performer, whose real name is Austin Richard Post spoke about some more recent sightings he's had in California and where he currently lives in Utah.

"I used to live in Tarzana... It looked kind of like, it sounds corny—but like a classic forcefield ... it's kind of like a dome in a circular shape," he said.

"And I'm like, 'How did no one else see this?' But I was there with like four other f****** people, and they saw it too."

Rogan asked: "If aliens are visiting us, how often are they doing it? ... If they're here all the time, they probably know how to evade detection. If something can travel here from another planet, it's going to be able to know when they're being watched.

"There's enough talk about it now, that we're probably going to find out about it in our lifetime. I think the government withheld information for whatever reason, maybe they think people are scared or a threat to national security, having people worried that a bunch of aliens are flying around us all the time.

"If they tell us that aliens are visiting us all the time, that's not going to be good, they're not going to pay attention to taxes, mortgage rates, and the stock market ... people are going to freak out."

The pair also spoke about a recent New York Times article about otherworldly vehicles that have been retrieved by the Pentagon and suggested that the current turmoil on Earth is too distracting for people to care about aliens right now.

Rogan said that that report is going to lead to "more and more information coming out" about life from other planets.

"I like to think that the people that are in charge at the Pentagon are patriots and they realize that, when you're dealing with the United States in this kind of turmoil—between racial turmoil and turmoil with the police and protesting—no one is going to notice now."

Rogan added: "Just say 'yeah we got UFOs,'—everything is so crazy, the news cycle of any crazy story is only a few days and then people forget."

Post added: "Or people already know and it's just normalization..."

On the subject of mask-wearing, Post likened face coverings to school uniform guidelines, saying: "It's like me in school having to tuck in my shirt or else you get detention," Malone noted. "It's weird to be forced to wear something."

Rogan pointed out wearing a mask helps prevent coronavirus from spreading.

Post responded: "At the end of the day, it all comes down to respect for other people. It's not a government thing. You shouldn't be forced to wear a mask—but you should. And that's because I respect you as a fellow human."
