# Powerball Jackpot Numbers, Results for 10/27/18: Did Anyone Win the Powerball Jackpot Saturday (Last) Night?

For those that didn't have lottery fatigue or lotto let-down after not winning the record-setting \$1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot last week, there were still millions to win during Saturday night's Powerball jackpot drawing. Anyone lucky enough to match all five white balls plus the Powerball, could take home a whopping \$687.8 million. The cash value of Saturday night's Powerball drawing was \$396.2million. The winning numbers from Saturday night's Powerball jackpot drawing were 8-12-13-19-27, the Powerball was 4. According to Powerball, there were two winning tickets after Saturday night's drawing, which were sold in Iowa and New York. The ticket holders can choose between "an estimated annuity of \$343.9 million, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump sum payment of \$198.1 million."

There were two \$2 million match 5 plus Power Play winners. Those tickets were sold in Florida and Texas. Additionally, 13 \$1 million match 5 winning tickets were sold Saturday. California, New Jersey, New York and Texas each had two winning Powerball match 5 tickets sold. Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio each had one match 5 winner.

The drawing Saturday night was the fourth highest lottery jackpot in history. The three largest U.S. lottery jackpots were Powerball's \$1.586 billion jackpot on January 13, 2016, last week's \$1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot on October 23 and a \$758.7 million Powerball jackpot on August 23, 2017. Since we had two winners Saturday, the estimated jackpot for the Wednesday, October 31 drawing is dramatically less, at \$40 million. The cash option for next week's drawing is \$23 million.

The odds to win the Powerball grand prize Saturday night were 1 in 292,201,338.00 and if you had the golden ticket you have the option to take the cash option or an annual payout. Odds to get five balls, and win \$1 million, were 1 in 11,688,053.52, and if you beat the 1 in 1 in 913,129.18 odds to match the Powerball plus four other white balls you could take home \$50,000.

Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumped to \$687.8 million after no one won the \$428.6 million drawing on Wednesday, October 24.
