Powerball Results, Numbers for 06/27/21: Did Anyone Win the $75M?

Powerball's jackpot will rise by around $13 million to an estimated $88 million (cash value $62.1 million) after there was no winner from Saturday's (June 26) drawing.

Last night's winning numbers were: 8, 31, 39, 43 and 60. The Powerball was 17 and the Power Play was X3.

One player matched all five numbers but not the Powerball, winning $1 million.

A further 10 players matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $50,000, with another three doing so with a triple Power Play to win $150,000.

There were 226 winning tickets that matched four numbers without the Powerball to scoop players £100 each; another 98 did so with a Powerplay to win $300.

The last time the top prize was won was on May 6 when one ticket-holder won $286 million, ending a run of 10 weeks without a jackpot winner.

Anyone who wins will face a choice to claim the grand prize as an annuity that is taxed as you receive your annual payments, or as the cash lump sum—paying all applicable taxes upfront.

How to play Powerball

Drawings usually take place every Wednesday and Saturday, at 10:59 p.m. ET. Each draw is broadcast live from the lottery studio located in Tallahassee, Florida.

Players select five numbers from 1 to 69, in addition to one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. Each ticket costs $2 per play.

In certain circumstances, players can also multiply non-jackpot prizes by using the Power Play option for an additional $1.

Your chances of winning

Each ticket has the same chance of winning with a 1 in 24.9 chance of winning any prize, according to Powerball's official website.

The odds of winning the big jackpot are significantly longer at 1 in 292,201,338.

If you do win, you can choose to take your prize as an annuity, or for significantly less, a lump-sum payment. The annuity option sees the winner receive 30 annual payments over the space of 29 years, with each payment increasing by five percent until the 30th and final payment.
