Powerball Results, Numbers (10/10/18): Lottery Jackpot Increases to $314 Million (10/13/18)

The Powerball jackpot is going higher. With no overall winner in Wednesday's 10/10/18 drawing, the Powerball jackpot now increases to an estimated $314 million for Saturday (10/13/18), with a cash value option of $179.4 million.

The Powerball winning numbers on Wednesday (10/10/18) were: 8, 23, 27, 42, 60. The Powerball: 7. The Power Play 3X.

Even though there was no Powerball winner, there were five $1 million winners for the match five. These winners were located in Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri, according to the Powerball lottery. With no Powerball winner, the jackpot for Saturday night's drawing increases to $314 million.

The last big Powerball payout was $245 million, won on August 11, 2018. The Powerball lottery jackpot is one of America's two big multi-state games. It is held in 44 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, with drawings held at 10:59 p.m. ET Wednesday nights and Saturday nights. Players, who can enter with a $2 ticket, must make purchases before 9:45 p.m. ET.

In other lottery news, America's other big national game, Mega Millions, is also advancing with a high jackpot right now. With no winner Tuesday, the jackpot now increases to $548 million for the Friday 10/12/18 drawing (the cash option payout is $309 million).

Friday night's Mega Millions drawing will be the third-largest in the history of the game.

Mega Millions is a multistate lottery and one of America's two biggest lottery jackpot games. Jackpots start at $40 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier. Tickets are $2 and odds of winning with a $2 Mega Millions ticket are one in 303 million.

The deadline to buy tickets for the upcoming Friday night Mega Millions drawing is 10:45 p.m. ET that night. The drawing is held 10 minutes later, at 11 p.m. ET.
