Premier League 19/20: Where to Watch Southampton vs. Liverpool, Live Stream, Team News and Odds

Having picked up its first trophy of the season on Wednesday, Liverpool will be looking to make it two wins in two Premier League games when it travels to Southampton on Saturday.

Three months on since beating Tottenham Hotspur to win the Champions League, the Reds defeated Chelsea on penalties in the European Super Cup final.

Adrian was the unlikely hero, saving Tammy Abraham's penalty as Liverpool prevailed 5-4 in the shootout.

The Spaniard joined Liverpool last week and only started against Chelsea because of a calf injury that sidelined first-choice goalkeeper Alisson.

So far, the 32-year-old has looked like an accomplished understudy to Alisson and Jurgen Klopp will hope the Brazilian's absence won't be sorely felt.

"I don't think he [Adrian] has won a lot in his life so it's good for him to win it," the Liverpool manager told BT Sport after a penalty shootout against Chelsea.

"He made some unbelievable saves, both keepers did, so I'm really happy for him."

If Europe has proved to be a happy hunting ground for Liverpool, the Reds began the domestic season in emphatic fashion last week, thrashing newly promoted Norwich City 4-1.

On Saturday they travel to Southampton, where they have won in the last two seasons.

Liverpool has won the last four games against the Saints in the Premier League, scoring 11 times and conceding just once in the process. However, there are some positive omens for Southampton as well, who has beaten Klopp three times since the German arrived at Anfield, more than any other Premier League side.

That is just about the only stat the Saints can draw some comfort from, given they have won just one of their last 20 opening home fixtures in the Premier League.

Southampton looked dismal in a 3-0 defeat against Burnley in the opening weekend of the season and Ralph Hasenhüttl will have his work cut out to ensure there's no repeat of that scoreline on Saturday.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Saturday.

Team news

Southampton has a full squad available for Saturday, while Liverpool will be with Nathaniel Clyne, Naby Keita and Alisson. The latter suffered a calf injury against Norwich last week and Jurgen Klopp expects him to be out for a few weeks at least.

"It takes a while, it takes a couple weeks for sure, and we have to see," he told the club's website earlier this week.

According to Oddschecker, Liverpool is an 11/25 favorite (-225 in moneyline terms), while the draw is at 81/20 and Southampton is a 15/2 outsider.
