President Trump Says 'Crazy Bernie Sanders' or 'Sleepy Joe Biden' Will be His 2020 Opponent

With a little more than 18 months away from the 2020 presidential election, current President Donald Trump went ahead and made a prediction of who he could possibly face as he runs for reelection. The president narrowed it to two finalists in the ever-growing field of Democrat candidates.

"I believe it will be Crazy Bernie Sanders vs. Sleepy Joe Biden as the two finalists to run against maybe the best Economy in the history of our Country (and MANY other great things)! I look forward to facing whoever it may be. May God Rest Their Soul!," Trump tweeted.

The gesture from the president comes one night after conservative-friendly Fox News held a town hall for Sanders, who had his highest town hall-ratings so far after appearing on CNN and MSNBC versions, according to the Daily Beast.

Despite ratings, Trump called out Fox News for allowing supporters of Sanders, a self-professed "Democrat Socialist," to enter the studios, and less Trump supporters.

"Many Trump Fans & Signs were outside of the @FoxNews Studio last night in the now thriving (Thank you President Trump) Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for the interview with Crazy Bernie Sanders. Big complaints about not being let in-stuffed with Bernie supporters. What's with @FoxNews?"

Sanders, an independent senator from Vermont who's declared he'll run again as a candidate for president, is a Democratic frontrunner in early polls for the 2020 election along with former Vice President Joe Biden, who hasn't declared yet if he'll run.

Biden hasn't publicly said whether or not he'll run despite leading most polls as the leading candidate.

Biden seemed prepared to make an announcement he would run for president before different women—from Lucy Flores in Nevada to Amy Lappos in Connecticut and others—accused him of inappropriately touching them, whether an unwanted hug or kiss, according to this New York magazine report.

After Sanders' tax returns were released, the president sent another tweet Tuesday that Sanders saved money from the Trump tax cuts.

"Bernie Sanders and wife should pay the Pre-Trump Taxes on their almost $600,000 in income. He is always complaining about these big TAX CUTS, except when it benefits him. They made a fortune off of Trump, but so did everyone else - and that's a good thing, not a bad thing!"

The Democrats have a crowded field of candidates so far with Biden and Sanders leading the pack, along with these declared candidates: Beto O'Rourke, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Tulsi Gabbard, Amy Klobuchar, Julian Castro, Eric Swalwell, John Hickenlooper and other folks who've made names for themselves. Then there's the wildcard of former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz running as an independent.
