It is the romance that has captivated the globe over the past two years and, in May 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot in a lavish ceremony at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in Berkshire, UK.

Harry, the second son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, met Markle on a blind date in July 2016, and said he immediately knew he had met his future wife. Markle was born in Los Angeles in 1981, six days after Harry's parents married. She rose to fame as an actress as and was previously best known for her role as Rachel Zane in the drama series Suits.

In an official interview after announcing their engagement in November, the couple talked about their whirlwind courtship and juggling the demands of Harry's royal commitments and Markle's filming schedule. Harry said he was confident that his late mother would have approved of his wife-to-be. "They'd be thick as thieves, without question," he said.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Markle’s engagement ring was designed by Prince Harry and made by court jeweller Cleave & Co. It includes a diamond from Botswana, where the couple spent some time shortly after they began dating. Speculation is rife as to the design of the wedding ring Harry will slip onto Meghan's finger on May 19.

When the royal couple walks out of St George's Chapel as man and wife, they will also receive new official titles in both England and Scotland, bestowed on them by Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. It is widely believed that they will become the Duke and Duchess of Sussex south of the border,  Harpers Bazaar reports, while there is more conjecture as to their Scottish titles. Harry could become either the Earl or Ross or Earl of Dumbarton.

All the cameras of the world's press will be focused on the ceremony next month, as they have been since Harry and Markle first stepped out together as a couple. Take a look through the Royal Couple's photo album so far.
