PS5 Restock Update for Walmart, Newegg, Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Target and More

After a busy period of multiple restocks last week, PS5 supplies are now dwindling once again. That being said, there is at least one major U.S. outlet that is currently selling the next-gen hardware.

Here is a breakdown of the latest PS5 restock information.

Amazon PS5 Restock

After an incredibly short-lived restock last week, the PS5 is once again unavailable from the Amazon marketplace.

If you are willing to buy a second-hand unit, then you might be able to find one of those on the website. However, it is worth bearing in mind that these are not being traded by Amazon itself, but rather by third-party scalpers who will charge you an extortionate amount.

For instance, there is currently a used PS5 listed for $900 and that is without any games or accessories bundled in with the purchase.

As such, we would recommend that you instead wait for the next official Amazon restock to take place.

Newegg PS5 Restock

You are able to grab a PS5 from Newegg right now, as the console is featured in today's shuffle draw.

To clarify, you cannot just buy the item in a straightforward transaction and you must instead enter the Newegg lottery for a chance at being selected. If your name is successfully drawn at random, then you be able to make your purchase.

The PS5 will ship with an extra DualSense controller and a compatible HD camera. The bundle in question costs $529.97.

Walmart PS5 Restock

Walmart coordinated a large scale restock of all next-gen consoles on Friday, September 24.

From around 9 p.m. ET, customers were able to place orders for the Xbox Series X, as well as both the disc and digital edition of the PS5.

All of these supplies are now depleted, meaning that the only way you can get a PS5 from Walmart is to buy one from a reseller. Of course, like with Amazon, these units will be considerably overpriced.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

As we reported in our last restock update, Best Buy was selling PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles in select "flagship" locations on Thursday, September 23.

This was a rare in-store drop, meaning that you had to physically wait in line at one of the participating outlets. As you can probably expect, it was incredibly competitive, especially since most stores only had about 75 consoles in stock.

With this event now over, you are once again unable to get a PS5 from Best Buy.

PS Direct PS5 Restock

Both disc and digital editions of the PS5 were available from Sony's storefront on Thursday, September 23, where they were going for their recommended manufacturer's prices of $399 and $499 respectively.

The virtual queue opened at 6 p.m. ET, at which point shoppers had the opportunity to wait in line for a chance at buying the elusive hardware.

The inventory has since been thoroughly exhausted and there is no word on when the next PS Direct restock is likely to take place.

Target PS5 Restock

Target was last selling PS5s on Friday, September 10. Since then, there has been no indication of when the next drop might occur.

It is particularly difficult to forecast Target's restocks at the moment, given that they do not occur on a consistent day of the week. We can at least narrow it down a little by noting that the outlet usually releases its new supplies in the early morning (often between 7 a.m. ET and 8 a.m. ET).

GameStop PS5 Restock

GameStop's last PS5 drop took place on Tuesday, September 14.

Given that most U.S merchants restock on a fortnightly basis, it might be worth keeping an eye on GameStop's website tomorrow (Tuesday, September 28). Of course, it is by no means guaranteed that the outlet will release new units then but it cannot hurt to be prepared just in case.

Antonline PS5 Restock

You are unable to get a PS5 from Antonline right now, but there are multiple options for getting an Xbox Series S if you are in the market for one of Microsoft's consoles.

You can find more details about this in our latest Xbox Series X restock update.

Sam's Club Restock

In our previous restock update, we mentioned that the PS5 was out of stock at Sam's Club but that you could get a hold of the Xbox Series S instead.

Unfortunately, this is no longer the case as all next-gen console bundles at Sam's Club are now sold out.
