PUBG finally has a release date on PS4. The iconic battle royale game makes its Sony console debut Dec. 7, but you can preorder it now. The standard version still costs $30 like it does on Xbox and Steam, but PlayStation customers have a few additional options if they'd like to pay more for premium G-Coin or in-game currency.
- Looters Edition $30: Base game
- Survivor's Edition: Base game, Vikendi Survivor Pass, 2,300 G-Coin and 20,000 BP
- Champion's Edition $60: Base game with Survivor Pass plus 6,000 G-Coin and 20,000 BP.
- Exclusive Loot: All pre-orders also feature cosmetics for Nathan Drake's Uncharted outfit and Ellie's backpack from The Last of Us.
At launch PUBG on PS4 will feature Miramar, Erangel and Sanhok, with the fourth snow-focused map, Vikendi, due soon after. The game also supports HDR and has been fully enhanced for PlayStation 4 Pro where applicable. In other words, PUBG on PS4 offers near content parity with the Xbox One version of the game from day one. "We're excited to expand our PUBG service and introduce new communities to our battle royale game" Changhan Kim, CEO PUBG Corp., said in a press release. "PlayStation has developed an amazing community of passionate gamers and we can't wait to join them this holiday season."

This news arrives a few days after several internet sleuths found evidence of PUBG's PS4 trophies on Sony's servers. The assumption made by fans at the time was that a full release was imminent. Today's announcement confirms that assessment.
For now, PUBG is only available on PC and Xbox One.
