'PUBG' Update 1.07 Fixes Vikendi Pass on PS4 and Xbox - Patch Notes

PUBG just got a small update on PS4 and Xbox One, and the patch features a few hundred megabytes of fixes. As outlined in the PUBG Corp patch notes below, some of Vikendi's biggest bugs have officially been squashed. Here are the full details.

PUBG Update 1.07 Patch Notes

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes "PLAY"/"READY" button would not function correctly (XBOX ONLY)
  • Fixed an issue where a party member's character would intermittently not appear in the lobby
  • Fixed an issue where you were unable able to move to "CAREERS" tab in the "SEASON" menu
  • Fixed an issue where you were unable to pick up the wanted quantity of an item from a loot box
  • Fixed bugs related to Survivor Pass: Vikendi
  • Fixed an issue where the mission list language would not update after changing the language in SETTINGS
  • Fixed an issue where a UI button would be placed incorrectly
  • Fixed an issue where main weapons were not equipped if selected immediately after throwing a molotov
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes main weapons were not equipped in certain situations
  • Fixed an issue where "Now you see me now you don't" achievement could not be achieved on Vikendi
  • Fixed mistyped information on the "SEASON – Survivor Point" page

Nothing in this update drastically changes the console version of PUBG as players know it. In fact, this list of tweaks may be a bit shorter than some expected. Especially on Vikendi, network lag and clipping inside buildings remain constant problems. As for those sorts of fixes, however, developers promise to feature them in a future patch. Other negative aspects, like the long queue times across multiple modes, likely won't be fixed unless the player base expands.

Especially when it comes to PUBG, all fixes are good ones. As small as today's hotfix may be, at least there's also a suggestion of content parity across multiple platforms. This game has irrefutably struggled to gain consistent traction on PS4 and Xbox, but, as we've seen with many service-based shooters over the past year, regular support is probably the best way to maintain and expand a community.

PUBG is available now on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Today's hotfix only applies to Xbox and PS4.
