Quibi Shares List of Every Movie and TV Show That Will Be Available at Launch

Quibi has released its upcoming lineup of quick and short original content ahead of its official launch date on April 6. Designed specifically for your cell phone, expect movies and TV shows each about 10 minutes or less.

The new platform will separate its upcoming slate into three distinct categories: Movies in Chapters, Daily Essentials, and Unscripted and Documentary Series.

Quibi has enlisted some big names for its programming. Liam Hemsworth plays Dodge Maynard, a married man who must protect his pregnant wife in Most Dangerous Game. Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner gets caught in a plane crash in Survive. Chrissy Teigen will play the judge in her upcoming reality show, Chrissy's court.

Before the April 6th launch Quibi subscribers will initially receive a 90-day free trial if they sign up on the official website. About 175 original shows and 8,500 episodes are expected to air during Quibi's first year.

In an interview with Forbes, Quibi founder Jeffrey Katzenberg explained the format, "We're going to turn this iPhone into a really good TV set, or video I should say, because TV is the wrong word. We're going to turn this into an optimal way to watch video. And I'm going to get the entire Hollywood community onto it now with a new set of specs to make stuff that can be played beautifully on this."
