A gameplay trailer for RAGE 2 will release tomorrow, May 15.

While we don't know what RAGE 2 will actually look like, we can predict the tone of the game based on the reveal trailer. The trailer includes a lot more color than the first RAGE, with splashes of purple and yellow dominating the screen. There also seems to be more personality in the characters, with a strong Mad Max meets Borderlands vibe.

Based on the trailer, and the first RAGE, it looks like the post-apocalyptic setting will return. Shooting will also be heavily featured, judging from the number of guns seen in the latest video. Melee weapons and thrown weapons are also seen in the announcement trailer, which means they will likely be featured in the game as well.

Unfortunately, no release date was mentioned in the reveal trailer. It's possible this news will arrive with tomorrow's gameplay trailer, or it will be held for Bethesda's E3 showcase. Since the company is already revealing a gameplay trailer, it's likely the release date will be some time soon, perhaps even by the end of the year. Typically, companies don't reveal gameplay until close to launch, when all the systems are in place.

So what do you think? Are you excited to play RAGE 2? Will you hold off on getting hyped until you see tomorrow's gameplay trailer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
