Republicans have been attacking Kamala Harris for her jewelry after she asked for donations to her campaign while wearing a gold necklace.
In a video posted to her Facebook account on July 26, the vice president said, "Today. Not tomorrow, not next week. Today is the day I hope you will donate to support our movement. Because the truth is, time is running out. We're in the final lap of this race, and election day will be here before you and I know it. So I need you to act now, so your donation can have the greatest impact. The stakes in this election could not be higher. And we cannot throw up our hands when we must roll up our sleeves. Let's get to work."
In the video, Harris can be seen wearing a gold interlinking necklace with a white shirt and cream-colored blazer. It appears to be the same necklace she's worn at other events, including at a fundraising campaign in Massachusetts on July 27.

Another user, who brands themself a "MAGA patriot," commented in their post of the screenshots, "Kamala Harris should take off the $62,000 dollar necklace, before asking people to donate."
One post, by Politico's California bureau chief Christopher Cadelago showed what appears to be a screenshot of promotional campaign material for JD Vance that referenced the necklace.
"JD Vance is now attacking Kamala Harris over her necklace choices," Cadelago wrote. The post has accumulated more than 771,900 views since it was posted yesterday.
Vance's office has been contacted by Newsweek for comment.
The Harris campaign raised $310 million in July, when Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed the Vice President as the Democratic nominee instead.
Harris also saw 2 million first-time donors contribute to her campaign last month, where the donations of the new donors generated more than two-thirds of her fundraising in July.
